We enjoyed exploring the castle grounds and appreciated the free tea and coffee with cakes in the afternoon. Having 5 teenagers and 2 kids, the spacious rooms and beautiful views made for a very relaxing stay. The restaurant meals were fantastic too!
For dads, it would be great to have more entertainment options for the kids.

The castle stay was charming, with beautiful decor and a fantastic view. The staff were welcoming, and the location near the ruins was a nice touch. However, the price of drinks seemed excessive. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but be ready for some steep prices.

missingWrote a review on Jul 31historic charmstunning viewengaging tourlimited parking
Unique castle atmosphere enhances the stay, with well-preserved interiors that add historical charm. The audio tour captivates, providing rich narratives of the castle's past, and the view from the battlements overlooking the Rhine is truly remarkable.
Check-in can feel convoluted, requiring navigation into a small storefront with limited flexibility. Parking is quite limited, with only seven spots by the gate, potentially leaving you with a long trek from the bottom of the hill, which is particularly troublesome for anyone with mobility challenges. The absence of an elevator makes room access tricky, especially with rooms scattered across the castle. Additionally, clarity regarding room rates and meal inclusions may need improvement to ensure guests know exactly what to expect.

The breakfast spread was a dairy lover's dream! Eggs Benedict and mimosas made our mornings blissful. Plus, the stunning grounds allowed us to waltz through the castle at our leisure. A perfect spot for a fairytale wedding vibe!
Though the climb up to our room was a bit of a leg workout, and the distant railway hummed quietly below, it added character rather than chaos to our stay.

Staying in a castle offered an exceptional experience with awe-inspiring views of the river. The room featured a modern bathroom and a cozy atmosphere, creating a comfortable stay. Breakfast included some delightful items, but it was fairly basic, limiting my overall enjoyment. Noise from nearby trains was noticeable at night, affecting sleep quality, though that didn't detract too much from the unique environment. The staff was friendly and accommodating, adding to the charm of this historic stay.

A magical moonlit stroll
Wandered through the castle grounds under a starry sky, feeling the rich history wrapped around me. Breakfast was a delight, especially savoring bacon in this enchanting setting.
However, communication in the dining room fell short, as not all staff understood English, causing slight misunderstandings during meal service.
